Hiring? Post a job

The job board is open. If you are hiring designers, the people you want are already here looking at work.

The people reading Layers are designers looking at design. That is a better room to hire in than a general board, where a design role is one listing among thousands and the audience is everybody.

The board is under Jobs, and posting takes a few minutes.

What makes a listing work

  • Say the salary. It is one of the filters, so a listing without one is invisible to anyone who uses it — and most people do.
  • Be specific about remote. "Remote" and "remote within a few hours of CET" are different jobs. There is a field for the region; it is worth filling in.
  • Write it as a person. The listings that get clicked read like someone describing the work. Nobody has ever applied because they were called a rockstar.
  • Choose where applicants land. A listing can take applications here or send people to your own form.

Where it shows up

On the board, in search, and in the jobs block beside the Feed and News. Listings stay live until they expire or you close them.
