Ask the community
One question at a time, in the Feed sidebar. Vote to see where everyone else landed — and suggest what we ask next.
Design arguments are the good part. Almost every tool, convention and default has a version of tabs-or-spaces attached to it, and most of them never get settled because nobody counts.
There is now a poll in the Feed sidebar. One question at a time, running until we swap it for the next one.
How it works
Pick an answer and the results open up — the split, and the faces of some of the people on each side. Before you vote you see the question and nothing else, which is deliberate: a visible leader pulls later answers toward it, and a poll that everyone agrees with after the fact was not worth running.
One vote each, and that is enforced in the database rather than by hiding the buttons. You can still change your mind — clicking another option moves your vote instead of adding a second one.
Suggest the next one
"Suggest one" at the top of the widget takes a question and up to four answers. They come to us, we queue the ones worth asking, and they go live with your name on them.
Short questions work best. The sidebar is 320px wide, so "Figma or Sketch" lands and "What do you think about the current state of design tooling" does not.
